As a Chico Wedding Photographer, I always look forward to working at Centerville Estate. This Chico Wedding Venue is gorgeous with so many photo backdrops including the river! I could seriously spend a lot of time doing bride and groom portraits at this venue!
Mike and Kara’s Wedding day
Mikey and Kara hired me to photograph their October Fall wedding at Centerville Estate. Their wedding day was gorgeous and the weather was warm and beautiful. It was absolutely perfect for a mid-October fall day.
The day began with bride and groom getting ready photos. The couple got ready on site, in different locations. After getting ready, I proceed with wedding party photos and kept everyone separate since the couple choose to not do a first look. Once we finished with wedding party photos, there was down time for the couple to relax before the ceremony. Ceremony time came, then family photos, and then I brought the entire wedding party together for their photos, then finished off with bride and groom portraits. The couple was announced into their reception, followed by toasts, dinner, and then of course DANCING!
Wedding Tip – Chill time before your ceremony!
One thing that I have noticed couples will do is they will incorporate some “chill time” into their wedding timeline before the ceremony. This is so important, because its a time to breathe and regather yourself before you exchange your “I do’s.” I have witnessed weddings, that were “Go go go” and weddings where the couple set aside time to relax before their ceremony. Couples that set aside time, were more relaxed and were less stressed, so it definitely works!
