Starting the Day
We kicked things off with a first look at their meeting spot, which set the tone for everything that followed. It was such a grounding, emotional moment for these two before we headed into the adventure of their day.
First Stop
Our first stop was Memorial Point, a favorite Lake Tahoe overlook with sweeping views that never disappoint.
Memorial Point is a place where you can make a quick stop and have an easy walk to epic views.
The lighting was perfect with just the right amount of cloud cover to make the colors of the lake pop!
Ceremony at Emerald Bay State Park
Next, it was time for the main event: their ceremony at Emerald Bay State Park. Nestled along the shoreline with epic views of the bay and the surrounding Sierra peaks, this spot felt both intimate and grand all at once. Their vows were heartfelt, and you could just see how excited they were to step into this new chapter together.
Celebrating With Family
After the ceremony, everyone gathered for a champagne toast to celebrate the newlyweds. I brought bubbles for the kids and it was such a playful touch that added to the the moment. The laughter, bubbles floating in the breeze, and champagne clinks made the perfect ending to their ceremony time.
