Right after the ceremony and portraits, we had just a short window before the clouds completely rolled in and completely covered the peak of Mount Shasta. The light faded super fast, so we moved quickly to capture a few final moments before it was gone. I scouted the area before their elopement so that’s how I found this spot down the road from their venue.
Even without a glowing sunset, the energy between them was real, honest and they were super fun to be around. Sometimes the weather has its own plan, and that’s part of what makes elopements like this feel so raw and unfiltered. Moody clouds did fit their moody rustic vibes, so it was perfect!
