Greg and Diana’s elopement Lake Tahoe was everything summer in the mountains should be, relaxed, intentional, and full of moments that felt completely true to them.
Their morning began at The Landing Resort & Spa, one of my favorite places in South Lake Tahoe for getting-ready photos with clean light and lake views.

Ceremony at Logan Shoals Vista Point | Elopement Lake Tahoe
We headed to Logan Shoals Vista Point, and the views were unreal. The lake was calm, the mountains were glowing, and their vows were the kind that pull everyone right into the moment.

Forest Stop + Ice Cream Treats | Summer Elopement Lake Tahoe
After the ceremony, we stopped at a quiet forest patch off the highway. The soft light between the pines made the perfect backdrop for intimate portraits.

Then it was time for lunch, followed by ice cream cones that felt so perfectly “summer elopement in Tahoe.”

Sunset at Sand Harbor
We wrapped up the day at Sand Harbor, which always delivers those warm, dreamy sunset colors. The lake was glassy, the air was golden, and these two were completely in their element.

And then… the best part.
They got in the water.
Greg and Diana splashed, held onto each other, and turned their sunset portraits into something unforgettable. I brought my underwater housing specifically for this moment and the photos turned out unreal.

Why Eloping Might Be Exactly What You’re Looking For:
Eloping gives you the freedom to create a day that feels like you! ZERO pressure, no expectations, no timelines built around anyone else. Just the two of you, choosing meaning over chaos and connection over tradition.
You don’t have to fall into the trap of a big, stressful wedding if that doesn’t feel right. You can choose a day that’s relaxed, intentional, and completely centered around your relationship. A day where you breathe easier, stay present, and celebrate in a way that actually feels good.
If you want a wedding without the performance, without the drama, and without the noise, eloping is your chance to craft something peaceful, personal, and unforgettable.
