Where Is Mount Shasta and How Do You Get There?
Mount Shasta is located in Northern California, close to the Oregon border and surrounded by forests, lakes, waterfalls, and mountain towns. It feels remote enough for a peaceful elopement, but it’s still accessible by car from several major cities and airports.
Most couples choose to fly into Sacramento, San Francisco, Medford, or Redding, then rent a car for the rest of the trip. Redding is the closest airport, while Sacramento and San Francisco typically offer more flight options. Medford can also be convenient for couples traveling from the Pacific Northwest.
