As a Monterey Elopement Photographer, I always enjoy photographing in such a beautiful location! I love when we get to travel to a new destination for photos. I feel like we went to a fairytale town.. Carmel! I knew how gorgeous Carmel would be, so I brought my husband along! He’s always such a good sport! I thought, “No way am I going to a dream location and shooting by myself!”
Meeting the couple..
We met Laura and Terry in town and spent about a couple hours together for their engagement session. We began in town. The architecture reminds me of Europe in some spots that were tucked away, it was like finding pockets of treasure. There was A LOT of people, but it was the day before 4th of July, so it was expected and we knew that going into it. You would have never known there were so many people by the photos. As a Monterey Engagement Photographer shooting in Carmel, it gets busy and it takes A LOT of practice and skill to work around crowds.
After doing photos in the cute town, we headed down to the beach for some more photos. Honestly, I was a little sad I wasn’t going to get those beach sunset shots, but the sky being overcast actually set a nice mood, it was lovely. I am so happy with how their photos turned out.
